Hy-View Fire Company

Hy-View Firefighters responded this morning for a report of a structure fire on Poinciana Pkwy. Hy-View 9-2 went on location reporting heavy smoke showing and declared a working fire. Hy-View 9-2 further reported fire in the rear of an attached garage extending into the 1 story dwelling. Mutual aid companies were U-Crest, Forks, Rescue (FAST), Depew, CD-132, Cleveland Hill (fill in @ U-Crest), & Bowmansville (fill in @ Hy-View). The fire was under control in 34 minutes

Hy-view battles an early morning structure fire. Cheektowaga Police on scene pull out multiple victims before Fire units arrive. Crews arrived to find heavy fire on the #3 side. Modest flash-over occurs in the 1-2 corner; multiple handlines in use. On Scene U-Crest, Forks, Depew, and Bowmansville standby. Status of victims: 3 confirmed dead.

Hy-View Firefighters responded this evening to a basement fire. The home was unoccupied except for the family pet which was saved.
